These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Student Calendar AI ("SCAI", "we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using SCAI, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SCAI provides tools that use artificial intelligence to identify academic dates, deadlines, exams, assignments, labs, and other events from course information and convert them into calendar-ready formats.
2. AI Accuracy and Academic Responsibility
SCAI uses automated and AI systems. Extracted events may contain errors, omissions, incorrect dates, incorrect times, or other inaccuracies.
SCAI is a planning assistant, not an official academic source.
You are responsible for checking all generated events against your official syllabus, instructor announcements, learning management system, university calendar, and other official course information.
You should not rely solely on SCAI for academic deadlines or examination information.
3. Accounts
Some SCAI features require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity performed through your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
4. Free and Paid Import Credits
SCAI may provide a limited number of free syllabus imports to eligible accounts.
Additional import credits may be purchased as one-time purchases.
Purchased credits are associated with the account used to make the purchase and are not transferable between accounts unless SCAI explicitly permits otherwise.
Import credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Paid credits currently do not expire through ordinary account usage.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout.
Prices and currencies are displayed before you authorize payment.
Except where required by applicable law, purchases are generally non-refundable after credits have been successfully delivered to an account or used.
If a payment is completed but the purchased credits are not correctly delivered because of a technical problem, contact us so that we can investigate the transaction.
6. Google Calendar
Google Calendar integration is optional.
If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize SCAI to perform Calendar actions that you initiate, such as creating extracted academic events in your calendar.
You may revoke SCAI's Google authorization through your Google Account at any time.
Google services are operated by Google and may be subject to separate Google terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse SCAI, attempt to bypass usage or payment limits, interfere with the service, access another user's account without authorization, abuse automated systems, probe or attack SCAI infrastructure, or use the service in violation of applicable law.
8. User-Provided Content
You retain responsibility for course information and other content you submit to SCAI.
You represent that you have the right to submit content to SCAI for processing.
You grant SCAI the limited permission necessary to process submitted content for the purpose of providing the requested service.
9. SCAI Intellectual Property
The SCAI service, branding, interface, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to SCAI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Service Availability
We may modify, update, temporarily suspend, or discontinue parts of SCAI as the service evolves. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCAI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCAI will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the service, including missed assignments, exams, academic deadlines, or events caused by inaccurate or incomplete generated information.
13. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect SCAI, other users, payment systems, third-party services, or to address fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as SCAI evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date shown at the top of this page and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
